Nitza Thomasson

Bio:
Nitza Thomasson is a recognized expert in neuroscience with a unique multidisciplinary background spanning R&D in both large pharmaceutical companies and innovative biotechs. She holds a Master’s degree from École Polytechnique and ENS, and a PhD in Neuroscience from Sorbonne University. Her academic journey continued with postdoctoral research at Northwestern University (Chicago, USA) and Hôpital Sainte-Anne (Paris).
An entrepreneur at heart, Nitza co-founded BrainEver and GenSight Biologics, two pioneering companies in the field of neuroscience. She has also held senior leadership positions at Sanofi, Fovea, and Tissium, driving innovation and development at global scale. Following these experiences, she founded NTZConsulting, through which she has advised numerous companies worldwide on pharmaceutical development strategies for more than seven years.
Her return to Servier marks a new chapter, building on her earlier experience in Neurology Division (2001–2009). With a strong track record in leadership, research management, and the development of transformative therapies, she brings both scientific and strategic vision to accelerate Servier’s global ambition in neurology.
